Find out how to wear STRIPES this summer!

If you’re sat on your commute, scrolling through our blog, look around you. How many people are wearing stripes?* It feels like this trend totally crept up on us.

*when I tried that with a friend of mine the other day, it worked - hopefully it did for you too.

Out of nowhere, stripes feel as though that have started to dominate the print world. I started to wonder to myself about this new stripey trend and how many ways I could wear the look (and I thought this would be a really visually pleasing blog). The Stripe Trends

Mini stripes

Teeny-tiny stripes have started to grow on us but there isn't a particularly special way to wear the look, it's just the the next big feature in the trend.

You'll probably find that these thin lines are on linen, loose fit tops or jumpsuits like the above. A word of advice, combine lots of these thin stripes with neutral colors or against plain backgrounds - there can be a lot going on otherwise.

High-neck tops

Tops and t-shirts are one of the easiest ways to incorporate stripes into your look, but in particular, we really like high-neck striped tops. High-neck tops are an easy way to transform a very casual into something more trendy, a definite Fashiola favorite.

Rainbow stripes

Rainbow print is down to be one of the most popular pattern trends of the summer, so obviously should deserve a spot in the blog. Celebrate summer with this burst of color!

How to wear the trend?

The dress.

There's usually one it dress of the summer... our money is on it being a loose fitting striped dress. Wear the summer's perfect dress with a pair of strappy sandals or high-top Converse if that's more your vibe. Finish the look with a great pair of sunnies.

Incorporate stripes into your summer workwear look, loose-fitting linen is perfect for a warm office.

Alternatively, some striped wide-leg pants would also do the trick!

Vertically striped shirts

Loose fitting vintage styled shirts are a great choice for the summer, paired some chino-shorts or denim and some round sunnies to finish off the look.
